ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday warned India that Pakistan has all the right to give a befitting response to India to their LoC violation.
In a statement today after the violation of LOC by Indian Air Force, he said that better sense should prevail in India.
He said that India has conducted a violation of the Line of Control and Pakistan reserves the right to an appropriate response.
“Nation should not be worried over the Indian act as the defenders of the country are fully prepared to respond to any misadventure”, said the Foreign Minister.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said we are peace loving nation and have registered successes in the war on terrorism.
On the other hand, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called an emergency meeting at the Foreign Office in Islamabad on the current red-hot issue of violation of LoC by Indian Airforce.
The meeting is underway with former foreign office secretaries and senior diplomats in attendance.
Indian warplanes violated Line of Control (LoC) in the wee hours of Monday night, ISPR reported.
Pakistan Army spokesperson, Major General Asif Ghafoor in a post on his official Twitter account stated that Pakistani Air Force “immediately scrambled”, causing the Indian aircrafts to return to their country.

However, no casualties or damage took place due to the timely and effective response from the Pakistan Air Force. Indian jets released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot.
