WEB DESK: Pakistan and India could be placed in the same group for the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, media reports say.
Commercial partners are reportedly keen to ensure the rivals meet during the group stage, with their matches continuing to draw strong interest from broadcasters.
The tournament schedule is expected to be announced in Cape Town on Wednesday at 9pm Pakistan time. The 14-team event will run from October 2 to November 21, 2027, in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. A one-year countdown is scheduled to begin on October 1.
