Washington (September 07, 2018): Randall G. Schriver, the Assistant Defense Secretary has said that Pakistan is an important partner and ally of the US, who has offered multiple sacrifices in the war against terror.
Randall G. Schriver while speaking at an event organized to commemorate the Defense and Martyrs Day at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, said that Washington respected these losses and sacrifices of Pakistan in war.
He further said that the military linkages between the two countries have always remained a strong foundation for the two-way relations and US is making active efforts to improve its relationship with the Pakistan Army.
US Assistant Defense Secretary said that the talks held between Pompeo, Dunford, and Islamabad’s top brass were in a favourable environment.
He said that US has high hopes for a respectful and better bilateral relationship with Pakistan after the visit of Mike Pompeo and General Dunford.
