ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that, Pakistan has no involvement in the incident in Pahalgam, asserting that Pakistan is not involved in terrorism but is instead the most affected by foreign-backed terrorism.
Speaking in the National Assembly session, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “I stand not in the shadow of fear, but in the light of determination. Guns are roaring on the borders, whispers of war are being heard, but Pakistan’s resolve is unshaken. This nation was built on struggle, not fear, and it will live by struggle.”
He further added that, India’s hands are stained with blood in various parts of the world, including Sri Lanka and Canada. He stated that Pakistan has provided evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism on its soil. He condemned all forms of terrorism, saying that terrorism cannot be ended with tanks alone, but with justice.
The PPP Chairman said that, suspending the Indus Waters Treaty is a crime against humanity. He accused India of being involved in state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, where a bloodbath is taking place. He urged India to remove terrorist tactics from its foreign policy, emphasizing that war is in no one’s interest and that negotiation and dialogue are the effective means of resolving conflicts.
He stated that, after a tragic incident in occupied Kashmir, India showered accusations. He described the killing of tourists as a tragedy but noted that India blamed Pakistan. He asserted that Pakistan does not export terrorism but is itself a victim of it, adding that terrorism is not just an attack on bodies, but on truth, peace, and civilization.
He said that, India is still accountable for Kulbhushan Jadhav and that Pakistan has provided proof of India’s involvement in terrorism. He reiterated that India is involved in terrorism in Sri Lanka, Canada, and other countries, and that India itself is involved in state terrorism. He called on India to remove terrorist tactics from its foreign policy.
