Pakistan Navy vessels arrive in Muscat to strengthen Naval ties with Oman

MUSCAT: A Pakistan Navy flotilla, consisting of PNS Rah Naward, PNS Madadgar, and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency vessel PMSS Kashmir, paid a goodwill visit to Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat, Oman.

The visiting ships received a warm reception from Omani officials upon their arrival at the port.As part of the visit, the mission commander and commanding officers engaged in a series of meetings with senior representatives of the Royal Navy of Oman. The mission commander held calls with the Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Director General Operations and Plans, Commander of the Maritime Security Centre, Commander of Said Bin Sultan Naval Base, and the Commandant of Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy.

After completing the port visit, Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships participated in a passage exercise at sea alongside Royal Oman Navy vessel Khasab. The joint maritime drill was aimed at improving operational coordination and strengthening professional collaboration between the two navies through shared training activities.

Pakistan and Oman, being maritime neighbours, maintain close naval cooperation. Regular exchanges, including port visits, high-level interactions, and joint exercises, continue to play an important role in reinforcing bilateral maritime relations.
