Pakistan ODI skipper expresses grief over losing match despite hard work

Skipper of Pakistan One day squad Azahar Ali said that we had to score around 300 runs against England in 2nd ODI played at Lords but after losing early 3 wickets we could score just 250 runs.  England captain for ODI Eoin Morgan said that our bowlers had turned the match in our favor after taking 3 wickets in just starting four over.

Pakistan has been defeated by England in 2nd ODI by four wickets played at Lords while England now leading the 5 match series with 2-0.

The green shirts captain commented on the defeat that the wicket at Lords was favorable to batting and needed 300 runs but after losing early 3 wickets we could score only 250 runs.

The captains said that wicket keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed played his career best innings in the match adding that despite low score all  the players worked harder and fought back.

Azhar went on to say that the team has potential to do something adding that they should trust on themselves.

The green shirts captain argued that ” we should search for deepness in batting and more options in bowling.”

He said that he learned a lot as a captain in the match  adding that the team performance will further improve in coming matches.

The blue shirts skippers said that the wicket was slow and it ball was also turning on the pitch but all the English players made a victory possible with the best performance.

Morgan said that 2-0 lead is not guarantee to win the series while there  is need to uphold performance in the coming matches.
