Kuala Lumpur: Pakistan have gotten a tremendous victory against France by 3-2 on plenty shoot out in first semi final of FIH Nations Cup here in Kuala Lampur.
During the deputed timings semi final had remained equalize by 3-3.
Pakistan goalkeeper Muneeb Ur-Rehman blocked three France chances in the penalty shoot out, while Rana Waheed Ashraf, Hannan Shahid and Afraz struck for Pakistan to clinch a highly-rewarding victory.
On the other hand Pakistan hockey team performed tremendously well as untill second quarter France was leading with 1-0. Later in third quarter France improved its lead by 2-O .
Pakistan showing splendid peformance not only equalized the lead but also got a lead of 3-2.
Meanwhile France equalized the match in the fourth quarter scoring the goal on the plenty corner.
Pakistan will take on the winner of second semi final in the final tomorrow Saturday, June 21.
Whereas second semi final will be played later in the day between Korea and New Zealand.
