LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has prepared a roadmap to take control of Royal palm country golf club according to which a management committee consisting up of nine officers led by its CEO will be formed.
Federal Minister for Railways Shiekh Rasheed will approve the roadmap in a meeting called on Sunday.
The management committee in the chair of the Railway CEO will run its affairs for three months after taking its control.
As per the roadmap, the current staff will continue to do its duties while signatories will be changed immediately for transactions of the bank accounts, whereas, closure of the Railways Real Estate Development Company (REDIMCO) to be extended to September 30 and an advisory firm will set the transaction.
The REDIMCO will publish an advertisement for the appointment of transaction advisory firm while transaction advisory services firm will prepare a document for the international tender and will be responsible whole sole technical, economic, legal matters and work till completion of international tender and agreement.
