Lahore: The Pakistan Railways administration today (Saturday) restored train operation from Lahore To Rohri station partly.
As per the Pakistan Railways, Khyber Mail Express will travel to Rohri through Multan from Lahore.
On the other hand, other trains running from Karachi to Quetta could not be restored yet.

The railway operation from Lahore To Karachi and for Quetta still closed on continuous 16th day.
As per the Railway sources, the railway track in Sukkur and Karachi divisions are still inundated in the flood water.
Owing to the floods the Railways Infrastructure the worst affected.
The railway administration has run only a single train to Rohri. Earlier, Khyber Mail Express was running from Peshawar to Multan via Lahore.

The railway administration has shut down ticket booking and on-line purchase of tickets till September 11.
After reviewing the situation of railway track after September 11, a decision will be taken for restoring the railway operations.
