LAHORE: Pakistan Railways will run four special trains to accommodate passengers traveling across the country during Eid-ul-Fitr, officials announced.
Railway authorities said the schedule for the special services has been finalized following instructions from the Railways Minister of Pakistan.
The first train is set to depart from Lahore to Karachi on March 16. On March 17, a second train will leave Quetta for Rawalpindi, while another service will run from Karachi to Peshawar. The fourth special train will travel from Karachi back to Lahore on March 18.
Officials explained that the special trains aim to facilitate travelers during the Eid holidays, a period that sees a sharp increase in demand for rail transportation.
