Karachi: The Overseas Pakistanis in the last month of October this year sent remittances of a whopping 2.5 billion dollars, said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The SBP on Friday issued details of the remittances of the October current year.
As per the SBP Pakistanis residents in Saudi Arabia sent 616.8 million dollars.
A remittances of 473.9 million dollars received from United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The overseas Pakistanis from the United States of America (USA) sent 283.3 million dollars.
In Oct 2023, workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of US$2.5 billion, showing an increase of 11.5 percent over the previous month.

On the other hand Pakistan received a remittances of sum 8.8 billion dollars in the first four month of this year.
