SHARJAH: In the opening match of the tri-nation T20 series, Pakistan has set Afghanistan a target of 183 runs to win.
The match, being played in Sharjah, saw Pakistan winning the toss and electing to bat first. Captain Salman Ali Agha’s outstanding innings of 53 runs helped Pakistan post a total of 182 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
For the Green Shirts, Sahibzada Farhan scored 21, Muhammad Nawaz also made 21, and Fakhar Zaman contributed 20 runs, making notable contributions. Afghanistan’s Fida Ahmad took two wickets.
