WEB DESK: Pakistan secured their second consecutive victory in the Junior Hockey Asia Cup with a dominant 6-0 win over Bangladesh.
In this second group match, Sufyan Khan was the star of the show, netting a brilliant hat-trick with three goals. Mohammad Imad, Rana Waleed, and Zakariya Hayat also found the back of the net, each scoring once.
Pakistan’s opening goal came in the 23rd minute, when Sufyan Khan converted a penalty corner. Moments later, Mohammad Imad doubled the lead to 0-2. Sufyan Khan then added two more goals in the 32nd and 43rd minutes, while Rana Waleed struck in the 51st minute. Zakariya Hayat completed the scoring in the 60th minute.
Mohammad Imad was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan had defeated China 7-2 in their opening match. Pakistan’s next game in the Junior Hockey Asia Cup will be against Oman on November 30.
