WEB DESK: Cricket Australia has confirmed a three-match T20I series against Pakistan in Lahore from January 29 to February 1, 2026, as preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, with games scheduled for January 29, 31, and February 1. The toss is set for 5:30 pm (PST), and play begins at 6:00 pm. Australia’s squad will arrive on January 28.
This series is crucial for both teams, with Pakistan in Group A and Australia in Group B for the World Cup. It marks Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since 2022, including the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy matches. In their previous T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Australia beat Pakistan by three wickets.
PCB COO Sumair Ahmad Syed called the series an exciting start to the year for cricket fans, highlighting Australia’s familiarity with the venue.
