Pakistan to send dossier on India’s interference in B’stan to UN

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz has said that Kashmir is not ‘inseparable party of India’ rather an internationally-recognised disputed territory.

Talking to media after the National Assembly’s session outside Parliament’s House, Aziz also refuted the impression that Pakistan was isolated internationally.

He said that the Kashmir dispute was on UN agenda for decades and UNSC had passed several resolutions on the issue.
Earlier, he told the House that a dossier was being prepared on India’s interference in Balochistan, which will be sent to UN. He further said that through the dossier the RAW network would be exposed.

Aziz told the house that India cannot alternate or revoke the Indus Water Treaty unilaterally.

Responding to a calling attention notice moved by Shireen Mazari and others, he said there was no provision of suspension in the treaty. He said according to international law, India cannot unilaterally revoke the treaty.

The Advisor said if India tried to violate the treaty, there will be a befitting reaction from Pakistan.
He said Pakistan is gaining support of international community on the issue. He said Pakistan is considering to brief P-5 countries and international community about the dangers of suspending the treaty.

Sartaj Aziz said that the Indus Water Treaty was binding on both the countries and there was no provision of unilateral exist. He said the treaty was not suspended even during wars between the two countries.
Sartaj Aziz said the provocative statements and actions from Indian leadership on Indus Water Treaty are violation of international laws and breach of water treaty.

The Advisor said Pakistan will not accept any pressure from India and continue to expose brutal Indian atrocities being perpetrated in Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces. He said Pakistan will continue to highlight worsening human rights situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
