ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will submit a report on measures being taken by the government in compliance with recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Monday.
According to details, this will be the third compliance report which would be submitted by Pakistan till April, 15.
The first report was submitted by Pakistan to FATF on August, 18 and second was submitted on January 19. The fourth report will be submitted in July.
The compliance report – regarding progress achieved by Pakistan to curb terrorism financing and money laundering – would be taken up by FATF review group in its meeting scheduled to be held in May.
The watchdog will review Pakistan’s overall progress on global standards against financial crimes to warrant its exclusion from its greylist.
