Pakistan Top Leadership pay tribute to security forces for eliminating 30 terrorists in Orakzai

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi collectively commended the security forces on Friday for their successful operations in Orakzai, which resulted in the killing of 30 India-backed terrorists.

In separate statements, the leaders praised the professionalism and dedication of the armed forces, emphasizing that the sacrifices of martyrs including Lt-Col Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat would never be forgotten. They reaffirmed their commitment to crushing terrorism and safeguarding the nation.

President Zardari lauded the armed forces for dismantling the network of Indian-supported militants, describing the recent successes as a testament to Pakistan’s resolve. He stated that the sacrifices of the brave soldiers have made the nation proud and highlighted that these victories are part of a larger effort to fight terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the relentless efforts of security personnel, noting their willingness to risk their lives to protect the country. He reiterated that the fight against terrorism will persist until the menace is completely eradicated and assured that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also lauded the security forces for their recent operation against the so-called Fitna al-Khawarij in Orakzai. He expressed pride in their professionalism, stating that eliminating 30 terrorists marks a significant achievement.

Naqvi emphasized that the nation remains committed to supporting security agencies in their mission to eliminate terrorism. He warned that terrorists hiding under the banner of Fitna al-Khawarij will have no place to seek refuge in Pakistan, and vowed to continue efforts until the threat is fully neutralized.
