Pakistan will kick start its World Cup 2023 journey from today against Netherland

Ahmedabad: Pakistan will start its International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s World Cup 2023 journey from today (Friday) against playing Netherland.

Match will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium in Indian city of Hyderabad.

The match will start at 1:30 pm.

The Friday meeting between Pakistan and the Netherlands would be the seventh time they face off in an ODI.

The two sides have faced off six times in the format, their first meeting in the 1996 iteration of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, and Pakistan have come out victorious on each occasion.

Pakistan toured the Netherlands last year for what was the first bilateral series between the two sides, and recorded a clean-sweep.

Baber Azam talking on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) digital Pakistani skipper Baber Azam has said that we have a complete preparation for World Cup 2023 while access to final is our target.

While he declared Pakistan batting and bowling a power for the world cup.

He said that our fans should have been given visas.

The extremist Indian government has not issued visas to Pakistan fans and journalists.

Indian stubbornness continued as it neglected International Cricket Council (ICC) instructions for giving visas to Pakistani media persons and fans.
