Pakistan will never back off from supporting Kashmiris: PM Nawaz

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reiterated the resolve of never backing off from supporting Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom.

Chairing a high level meeting to discuss the situation along the Line of Control the prime minister said that Pakistan exercised all possible patience over violations of LoC but targeting of innocent civilians particularly women and children and passenger buses and ambulances will not be tolerated. Calling Kashmir issue an incomplete agenda of Indo-Pak partition he  added that Pakistan will never leave Kashmiris alone in the struggle for freedom.

During the meeting attended by Advisor Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, DG ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatimi, and Advisor National Security Nasir Khan Janjua the prime minister was briefed about the latest situation along the LoC and intention targeting of passenger bus and ambulance by Indian forces in Dodhia Sector which martyred 15 people.

The meeting reiterated the resolve to continue supporting support Kashmiris’ freedom struggle morally, diplomatically, and politically. The international community was also asked to take notice of Indian targeting of civilian population intentionally and demanding the IOC to help bring the situation to normalcy.

The participants paid glorious tribute to the Pak troops who sacrificed their lives to defend the country.
