DUBAI: Pakistani boxer Usman Wazir has won the first maiden fight against Morocco’s Ibrahim while another fame of Pakistan Amir Khan also attended the event held in Dubai.
When Usman Wazir called in the ring he was entered wearing Gilgit Baltistan traditional dress. He fought with Morrocco’s Ibrahim who is considered as a seasoned boxer in 63. 5 Kg category.
Morocco’s Ibrahim could not handle consecutive attack punches of the Pakistani boxer and Usman won all four rounds of the match.

Pakistani star boxer, Amir Khan, who lives in London, especially attended the event encouraging Pakistani boxer and also trained him before his fight with Morocco’s Ibrahim.
After winning the fight, Usman Wazir hoisting the Pakistani flag in the ring said that it is a win of Pakistan and he is thankful to Amir Khan over his active cooperation and while the whole of the world knows his efforts for promotion of boxing in Pakistan.
The fight had to be held in New York, however, over visa issues the fight transferred to Dubai.
