Pakistani Cricket Icons Extend Eid Greetings to Fans

ISLAMABAD: As Eid ul Adha fills hearts with joy across the globe, Pakistani cricket heroes took to social media to share warm wishes, spreading messages of love, gratitude, and unity among their fans.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris conveyed his heartfelt Eid message, saying: “Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating around the world. May this sacred day remind us of the value of sacrifice, the strength of faith, and the importance of gratitude. Wishing you and your loved ones peace, blessings, and a closer connection to Allah (SWT) today and always.”Babar Azam, the renowned batsman, kept his Eid wishes simple and cheerful, posting a festive photo of himself in traditional attire with the caption, “Eid Mubarak” on his Instagram profile.

Legendary all-rounders Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik also shared brief Eid greetings with their followers. Afridi posted a message of “Eid Mubarak,” while Malik shared a series of photos with his wife, actress Sana Javed, and family members dressed for the occasion.Shahid Afridi further highlighted the spiritual significance of Eid ul Adha by sharing a picture of the Holy Kaaba on his Instagram, emphasizing the religious importance of the festival.

Imam ul Haq, a top-order batsman, extended his blessings through a photo of himself with his sacrificial goats, captioned simply as “Allahumma Barik!”

Additionally, young cricketer Saim Ayub and other players uploaded video messages to convey their Eid wishes, spreading joy and festive spirit among fans.
