Islamabad: In the first five months of the financial year Pakistani exports have increased while during the same period, a reduction of 33.59 percent in the trade deficit has also been recorded.
The report on foreign trade statistics stated that Pakistani exports increase in the first five months of the current financial year and during the same period the trade deficit recorded a decrease of 33.59%, domestic export increase by 1.93 percent from July to November during this period Pakistani exports of 12 billion 172 million dollars recorded while the last year from July to November exports were 11 billion 942 million.
Imports decreased by 17.32 percent in the five months of the current financial year, Total imports of 21 billion 55 million dollars have been recorded in this financial year while during the same period in last fiscal year imports were over $26 billion, the trade deficit recorded a decrease of 33.59%
