Kenya-Tanzania’s Masai Tracta Company has partnered with Pakistan to introduce its agricultural machinery to Tanzania.

The partnership involves collaboration between Pakistani industrialists and Masai Tracta Company to introduce Pakistani machinery to the Tanzanian market.

The development highlights Pakistan’s commitment to expanding its agricultural machinery trade and fostering global trade partnerships.

The initiative, led by Pak Tractors House Company, aims to tap into new international markets.

The export is part of Pakistan’s broader efforts to strengthen trade relations with East African countries.

Economic officials see this as a sign of the international trade potential of Pakistan’s manufacturing sector.

The development opens the door to more agricultural machinery exports to East Africa.

SIFC has played a key role in promoting this trade initiative and establishing global business relationships.

Pakistan’s rice exports to Saudi Arabia increased by 25 percent in 2024, which is becoming popular among Saudi consumers due to its high quality. Pakistan’s rice exports have reached $4 billion.

The target for rice exports in the next fiscal year has been set at $5 billion.

A comprehensive strategy will be developed that aims to focus on modern seed research and standard agricultural practices to increase production and quality.

Pakistan exported more than 6 million tonnes of rice in fiscal year 2024, including high-quality varieties like Basmati, which are important for global partnerships.

Efforts are underway to strengthen Pakistan’s position in the Saudi rice market.

The Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Business Council praised the quality of Pakistani rice, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia.
