Pakistan’s Economy Has Come Out of Crisis Phase: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar on Monday said that Pakistan’s economy has come out of crisis phase.

“Pakistan’s economy had faced the critical phase now it is in the transition phase and gaining stability,” he said while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad.

Asad Umar said that the country has entered into the stabilization stage after facing severe challenges.

He claimed that at the end of the completion of a five-year term of PTI government the country’s economic growth rate would reach the highest in 15 years.

Finance minister said that the government was working on improving ease of doing business and had set a target to bring the country among the top 70 countries.

Asad Umar said Pakistan’s talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were in its final stage.
