Islamabad: Pakistan’s new remote sensing satellite has successfully entered into the orbit, spokesman Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission ( SUPARCO said.
According to the SUPRACO spokesman, the satelite has established stablized contact with the ground staion.
With the establishment of stabilized contact the process of sending high resolution pictures from the orbit to the earth has commenced.
The spokesman added that with the help of the satellite, a revolution will come in city planning and infrastructure development.
The satellite will oversee timely reaction, environmental changes, glaciers and forests during any natural calamity, the spokesman apprised.
The spokesman added that the satellite will improve decision making for a durable social and economic development.
The satellite will prove to be a milestone for Pakistan technical self reliance and durable development.
