Islamabad (August 21, 2017): Finance Minister Ishaq Dar filed petition in Supreme Court seeking review of the decision of the apex court on July 28 in Panama case.
The application seeking review of the court verdict in Panama case regarding the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was filed by Dr Tariq Hassan and Shahid Hamid.
In the 9-page application, the counsel of Dar submitted that there were many lacuna in the July 28, 2017 verdict.
The lawyers pleaded the court to withdraw the directives given in the July 28, verdict against their client.
It is to be mentioned here that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had already filed three applications in the apex court pleading it to review its July 28 verdict in the Panama case.
The apex court in its verdict on Panama case had disqualified Nawaz Sharif, besides ordering NAB to filed reference against Nawaz, his children and Ishaq Dar.
