Panama Leaks has never been a threat to govt: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD:  Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Panama Papers has never been a threat to the government and will not be so even now.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad today, she said the government’s stance on Panama leaks was the same today as was on day one. She added that Imran Khan demand was constitution of commission, which now changed.

He said that the politics of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif revolves around serving the masses with dedication and honesty.

She said that it was the vision of the prime minister that terror acts have significantly been reduced and power outages curtailed to two to three hours.

Responding to a question, the Minister of State said that the stance of Imran Khan keeps changing every passing hour as it is totally based on faleshood, allegations and anarchy.

Addressing the International Mountain Film Festival in Islamabad today, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzaib says the Prime Minister is himself concentrating on the revival of film industry in Pakistan.

She said the Government is making all out efforts for the betterment of industry and the artists.

The Minister said establishment of funds for film industry will be announced soon. She said with our vast array of cultural and civilizational asset, we can vivify the positive and real image of our country internationally. She said the youth needs to be engaged in all endeavors aimed at promotion and enrichment of our culture and civilization.

Marriyum Aurangzaib underscored the need for bringing the film industry in line with the international standards.
