Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Tahirul Qadri has reached in Lahore,where a large number of his activists were gathered to welcome him at Allama Iqbal International airport.However, arrangements have been prepared for sit-in on June 17 at Charing Cross in Lahore.
PAT chief appealed Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to bring murderers of Model town tragedy into justice, he added that government would kill itself, as they could not be able to bear the announcement which he would made on June 17.
Dr Tahirul Qadri has reached to Pakistan to attend 2nd death anniversary of Model town tragedy, where a large number of his activists were gathered to welcome him at Allama Iqbal International airport.
While talking to media, he said that despite two years have been passed, families of martyrs are wandering for justice while it is not possible that government who involved in massacre, can provide justice to martyrs and innocent victims of the incident.
He further added that despite of court orders, even FIR was not lodged, if COAS Gen Raheel didn’t give orders so government could never register FIR, adding that it is the responsibility of Gen Raheel Sharif to provide justice to the victims.
On the other hand, PTI’s chief Imran Khan has sought party meeting at Bani Gala, where they would decide either to join PAT protest on June 17 or not.
