Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member test squad for the first test match against England while Shan Masood will lead the team while Saud Shakeel will be the vice-captain of the team.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah have come back in the team after giving them rest in the second test match against Bangladesh.
Kamran Ghulam and Muhammad Ali have been dropped while Amir Jamal has come back in the team.
The others players included in the team are Baber Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ibrar Ahmed, Sayim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha, Abdullah Shafique, spinner Noman Ali.
Despite after continues failure Abdullah Shafique has been included in the team while Noman Ali has joined the team after 14 months.
All the selected players have to reach Multan on September 30 and participate in a brief training camp.
In the leadership of Ben Stokes England team will reach Pakistan on October 4.
For the International Cricket Council (ICC) test championship a three test match series will start from October 7 in Multan.
While second test will be played in Multan also from October 15 whereas third and last test match will be started from October 24 in Rawalpindi.
