Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announcing the central contracts and shook it as Sarfaraz Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman dropped while Shaheen Shah Afridi demoted to B category from A in the 12-month central contracts
The PCB has announced central contracts for the players for 25 players
Experienced Baber Azam and proposed captain of white ball Muhammad Rizwan are retained in A category whereas Shaheen Shah Afridi degraded to B category from A.
Astonishly Sarfaraz Ahmed and Fakhar Zaman have not been included in the central contracts.
Test skipper Shan Masood, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah are placed in B category. Taking 39 wickets in test series against England Noman Ali and Sajid Khan are included in the C category.
Similarly, Salman Ali Agha, Abdullah Shafique, Shadab Khan, Saud Shakeel, Abrar Ahmed , Harris Rauf and Saim Ayub are also given C category.
On the other hand, Amir Jamal, Haseeb Ullah Khan, Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Abbass Afridi, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Huraira, Muhammad Irfan Khan Nyazi, Waseem Junior and Usman Khan have been included in the D category.
The players will receive their salaries from month of July under this contract.
Other players who are not given the central contracts are Muhammad Muhammad Sarfaraz, Nawaz, Imam Ul Haque, Amad Waseem, Iftakhar Ahmed, Fahim Ashraf and Ahsan Ullah.
Besides that Tayyib Tahir, Shahnawaz Dhanani, Muhammad Harris, Zaman Khan, Arshad Iqbal, Hassan Ali, Osama Mir, Fakhar Zaman.
