PCB calls in Afridi, Umar and Ahmed for fitness camp

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has  called Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad in fitness camp for upcoming tour of England and fitness test will be started from Sunday.

The national cricket team will tour England from July 1st to September 7 to play four test, five ODI’s and single T20 match.

The PCB has decided to held the camp in Abbotabad for the vital tour where England like conditions are exists.

The camp will continue from May 15 to June 5.

National selection committee in chair of former skipper Inzamam Ul Haq had called 35 players for conditioning camp and Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shahzad were neglected and Muhammad Hafeez selection was linked to his fitness.

Fitness test for England tour will start from next Sunday in National Cricket Academy and the PCB has called three players Umar, Ahmed and Shahid  earlier which were neglected.
