PCB decides to shift PSL 10 remaining matches to UAE amid security concerns

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the remaining of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will now be played in the United Arab Emirates, following escalating military tensions between Pakistan and India.

In a statement issued on Friday, Naqvi reaffirmed the PCB’s stance on keeping politics and sport separate, while underlining the board’s responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of all players. “ The safety of our domestic and foreign cricketers is our top priority,” he said. “ this move is essential to protect the tournament from further disruption.” 

All international players are scheduled to depart for Dubai on special chartered flights later today. The league is expected to resume in six days, with a revised schedule of dates and venues to be announced once logistics are finalised.The PCB also confirmed the rescheduling of the postponed Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi clash, with updated match timings to be shared soon. Now in its 10th edition, the PSL remains a flagship T20 competition featuring top talent from around the world, including Pakistan’s Babar Azam, Australia’s David Warner, and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell.
