PCB, Punjab Govt Talks Over World XI’s Pakistan Visit

Lahore (August 1): The talks between Pakistan Cricket Board and Punjab government continues over the World XI’s tour of Pakistan. The final decision over the arrival of international players is expected by end this week.

The visit is scheduled for September 12 but the PCB is still awaiting green signal from the Punjab government. Two weeks ago a decision was made during the meeting held between Chief Minister Shahbaz Shahbaz and chairman of the Executive Committee of the PCB Najam Sethi that the talks between the PCB and Punjab government would start this week.

The first meeting in this regard was held at Civil Secretariat here today. The meeting was attended by Najam Sethi, COO PCB Subhan Ahmad, and head of Security and Vigilance Col Azam, and other high officials.
