PCB Refuses New Zealand Offer To Reschedule Series

Lahore: The cricket board of New Zealand contacted its counterpart board in Pakistan the PCB for a suggestion to reschedule the series on a neutral venue while the PCB rejected the offer.

The Cricket Newzealand had contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) saying that we wanted to play with Pakistan and searching an appropriate window (venue) for the rescheduled series. The PCB on the principle ground rejected the offer.

It is pertinent to mention here On September 17, Friday New Zealand cricket board unilaterally ended the series just start of the first ODI at Rawalpindi citing the security reason.

The PM Imran Khan also contacted New Zealand counterpart and offered to play the match without any spectator but she refused and said that lives of cricket players is paramount.

The Black caps had to play an ODI series of three matches and five-match T20 series in Pakistan.
