PCB rejects ACC decision to hold super 4’s Ind vs Pak match as per schedule in Colombo

Lahore: Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has made schedule of 11th Asia Cup 2023 a joke as ACC President J Shah didn’t allow change of venue of India between Pakistan match of super four.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected one sided decision while Pakistan has demanded an emergency meeting of the ACC.

The PCB has expressed strong reservations as first it was agreed to change the venue of India, Pakistan match of super four to Hambantota and now they have informed that the match will be held on previous schedule in Colombo.

J Shah has made earlier the schedule of World Cup 2023 a joke and now he has made decision regarding the Asia Cup a matter of defaming.

The PCB has demanded to call the emergency meeting of the ACC while the PCB also demanded that the meeting be taken a change of venue shifting decision with consensus.

Sources said that all the respective officials were apprised holding of the Pak vs India match of second round in Hambantota and later all are informed that the match will be held in Colombo as per schedule.

It is pertinent to mention that match between India and Pakistan in the first round of the Asia Cup washed out due to heavy rains.

During the match only India could do batting and scored 266 runs losing all the wickets but Pakistan could not bat owing to continuous heavy downpours in Palekele.

Once again there is prediction and fear of heavy rains in Colombo in second round match between the arch rivals India and Pakistan.

Pakistan has asked the ACC to change the venue of the second round of the games.
