Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has removed five mentors appointed for Champions Cup on a whopping salary of Rs five million.
The PCB had decided to hunt talent through conducting first class matches between five regional teams of ODIs, T-20.
The board had given responsibilities to Waqar Younis, Shoaib Malik, Saqlain Mushtaq, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Misbah Ul Haq.
Sources said that a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the PCB Mohsin Naqvi reviewed mentors performance.After which the PCB decided to remove all the mentors immediately.
According to the decision former skippers Sarfaraz Ahmed and Misbah Ul Haq can soon be given new role in the board.
