Islamabad: A delegation of the opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Wednesday called on Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja.
The PDM delegation handed over an eight point protesting letter to the (CEC).
The content of the letter stated that why delaying tactics are being used against the PTI foreign funding case. The ECP in its order back in 2020 wrote that the scrutiny committee is following the instructions. If scrutiny committee is not following the orders why did responsibility give to the committee again?
The PDM letters demanded to provide details of 23 accounts immediately and keep the hearing of scrutiny committee open and the PDM representatives be added in it.
It urged that the ECP should give prove of its good intention by giving early verdict of the PTI foreign funding case.
