Islamabad: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Thursday filed a reference in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), seeking disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan .
The reference insisted the ECP that the PTI Chairman Imran Khan be declared disqualified under article 62-1F.
Former premier Imran Khan not mentioned the gifts taken from Toshakhana in his assets, therefore, the PTI chairman be declared disqualified under article 62-1F of the constitution, as per the reference.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mohsin Shahnawaz submitted the reference in the ECP.
On the other hand, Speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Pervez Asharaf also will send a toshakhana reference to the ECP soon.
