NEW YORK: Pakistan’s permanent envoy to United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi said that peace could not be restored by military operation in Afghanistan.
While addressing to UN security council meeting, Maleeha said that there was no alternative option for Afghan peace, but holding dialogue. She said that Pakistan not to let its soil used against Afghanistan but on the other hand Afghanistan soil also should not be used in anti Pakistan activities.
She said that deteriorated security situation in Afghanistan was of concern for everyone. Maleeha said that blame game was not in the interest of any one of the region.
