The essential food commodities whose prices increased included flour, ghee, pulses, tea, rice including other things.

Karachi Retailer Groceries Group has urged the government to take inflation and prices of essential commodities seriously as the lives of the poor segment of society has paralyzed.
Flour Prices
The price of flour after an increase of Rs 10 climbed to Rs 100 per Kg. While flour of flour mill after an uptick of Rs 10 reached Rs 90 per Kg.
Tea and Rice Prices
Tea prices turned Rs 1350 per Kg after an increase of Rs 100. Prices of various types of rice increased by Rs 50.
Oil and Ghee Prices
Open oil and ghee prices reached Rs 520 per Kg after an uptick of Rs 40. The prices of branded oil and ghee surmounted to Rs 540 per Kg after an uptick of Rs 20.
Prices Of Pulses
The prices of one Kg split chickpea lentils turned Rs 180 per Kg after an increase of Rs 10. The prices of brown lentils climbed to Rs 160 per Kg after an uptick of Rs 10. Prices of skinned black gram lentils have become Rs 300 per Kg after an increase of Rs 20.
