Afghan consulate staff in Peshawar have announced to close the consulate in protest over stopping vehicle of Afghanistan counsel general designated in Peshawar.
Security sources said that the Afghan consulate general in Peshawar Dr Abdullahwahay Dapuyan was going in his car that he was stopped at security check post and his car was searched which angered him and he protested after that in protest the consulate staff closed the consulate.
Foreign ministry spokesperson Nafis Zikriya said that he could not comment on the closure of the consulate and stated he can comment on the issue after taking more information over the matter.
On the other hand security sources said that Afghan Consul General was not following the route and the paths have been fixed for diplomatic personalities.
