A police personnel embraced martyrdom in a remote control bomb blast in Peshawar area of Khazana Lundi road while police has started search operation after the blast.
According to details the police personnel in a vehicle were heading towards check post for aftar that all of sudden remote control bomb went off killing a police personnel Qayoom Dad while the others also injured.
The injured personnel were shifted to lady reading hospital. After the blast heavy contingent of police forces reached the spot along with bomb disposal squad.
The forces encircled the area and started search operation but no arrests were made during the operation.
As per bomb disposal squad as many as 5 to 6 kg of explosive material was used in the bomb and it was fixed oil box.
