PESHAWAR: Police arrested a suspicious person and recovered one kilogram explosive and a mortar shell material during action in sensitive Warsak Road area here.
According to police acting on secret tip an action was taken in a bus during which the suspect was arrested and explosives and mortar shell material were recovered from his possession.
According to sources the arrested suspect hails from Shabqadar area.
CTD has registered a case and interrogating the arrested suspect.
Meanwhile, Peshawar police is put on high alert after the recovery of the explosives and Warsak road bazaar has been closed and passengers riding buses are being searched.
