KARACHI: Lawyer of the petitioner, who filed the petition in Sindh High Court (SHC) against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur and others in the Iqama [work permit] case completed presentation of his arguments before the court on Friday.
According to details, Sindh High Court (SHC) heard on numerous petitions filed against Faryal Talpur, Nasir Hussain, Manzoor Wassan, Sohail Anwar Siyal and others in the Iqama case.
During the hearing, petitioner’s lawyer Haq Nawaz Talpur alleged Manzoor Wassan for hiding 25% shares of his offshore company in Dubai in his documents of 2013.
He claimed that Manzoor Wassan sold his company shares in 2015 for 75 thousand Dirhams in Dubai.
“Public office holders are involved in corruption. Those doing corruption should not be given any free hand. Country’s current situation [financial crisis] is due to such people”, said Haq Nawaz.
