ISLAMABAD: The government planning to hike petrol price by Rs.10 per liter owing to increase in international rate.
During the last two weeks, US Brent oil prices touched $83.17 per barrel from 81 US dollar.

Amid increase in import cost, government was likely to hike petrol price by Rs 10 per liter. If the proposed increase was implemented petrol price will touch Rs 289.69 from the current Rs 279.75 per liter
While diesel price was likely to be reduced by one rupee 30 paisa. After cut in diesel price, price will touch Rs 284.26. from the current Rs 285.56.
The notification about hike in the prices of petroleum products will be issued on March 31.
