Islamabad: It is likely that petrol prices will decrease from April 1.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has sent its summary for changes in the prices of petroleum products for fortnightly.
As per the summary, Petrol is likely to decrease 1.50 Rs per litre while diesel will be decreases by Rs 1. 74 per litre. Sources said in case the government increases levy on the petroleum product then prices can be remain same.
At the moment, Rs 23 levy is imposed on per litre petrol while Rs 12.74 levy is imposed on per litre diesel.
Finance Ministry will take final decision with the consultation with the premier Imran Khan.
