WEB DESK: From February 1, prices of petroleum products are expected to increase further.
Media report indicates, government may increase diesel prices by Rs 4.96 per liter and petrol prices by Rs 1.24 per liter starting February 1st.
Besides that light diesel prices are likely to uptick Rs 5. 93, Kerosine oil Rs 5 .
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will give final approval.
This potential increase follows two price hikes for petroleum products that occurred in January.
