PHC granted 40-day protective bail to Ali Amin Gandapur.

Peshawar: High Court granted a 40-day protective bail to the CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, and ordered that he should not be arrested in any registered case.

The Peshawar High Court, presided over by Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Salahuddin, heard the plea for protective bail filed by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The petitioner’s lawyer stated that the Chief Minister could not appear because he was in a meeting.

The court inquired whether reports for all cases had been submitted, to which the NAB lawyer replied that only one inquiry was ongoing against the Chief Minister.

The petitioner’s lawyer mentioned that there are 66 different cases registered against the Chief Minister. The court responded that they could not grant the amount of time requested.

Subsequently, the court granted protective bail to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for 40 days and also issued an order prohibiting his arrest in any registered case.
