PIA flight ready to depart for Manchester after five years

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to resume its flight operations to the United Kingdom after a hiatus of five years.

A spokesperson for PIA confirmed that flights to the UK are formally restarting tomorrow, with the first flight departing from Islamabad to Manchester. Preparations for this inaugural journey have been fully finalized at Islamabad International Airport.

Sources reveal that a large portrait symbolizing the city of Manchester has been installed at the airport to mark the occasion.

A special ceremony celebrating the recommencement of UK flights is scheduled for tomorrow at Islamabad Airport, with Defense Minister Khawaja Asif attending as the guest of honor.

PIA stated that restarting flights to the UK will not only improve convenience for passengers but also contribute significantly to restoring the airline’s international standing.
