Plain areas may observe intense heat for more two days: Met Office

In most plain areas of the country, intense heat has been continued since morning, mercury has been risen to 39 degree centigrade in Bahawalnagar while Met Office has forecasted that heat waves would remain for two more days.

Metro logical department said that weather would remain hot and dry in most plain areas of the country till Thursday while mercury is likely to remain between 38 to 50 degree centigrade in some areas.

According to officials, country’s central and southern plain areas including Sahiwal, Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Banuu, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Hyderabad, Sibbi and Nasirabad divisions would be engulfed in sever heat waves.

Weather is likely to be hot and humid during next two days in Rawalpindi,Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Kohat, Peshawar Division thus rains are also expected in some areas of Gujranwala divison and Kashmir.
